Partners and Sponsors
- Nissan Canada Foundation-Seniors Network,
Brampton North Nissan - Our association with the Nissan Canada Foundation and Brampton North Nissan has allowed us to greatly enhance the services we provide to the community. As a result of the rural aspect of our delivery area, transportation of meals and clients is a constant and ongoing challenge. The vehicle provided to the Agency through this partnership has brought tremendous benefits to our clients and the community at large.
- Guiding Groups-
Each Month one of the various guiding groups provides hand-made tray favours which are delivered by our volunteers along with the regular meal delivery. These little favours made by small, caring hands bring much delight and pleasure to our clients.
- Bolton Legion -
The Legion has been a source of financial support for the agency's programs on several occasions over the years.
- Bolton Lions Club -
This service group is the one the agency turns to most often to assist a client in need. They are always ready at hand to give prompt financial assistance when asked.
- Cavalier Transportation Services/George Ledson - George Ledson plays Santa Claus to the Caledon Meals on Wheels clients every year at Christmas. The week before Christmas has been designated 'Cavalier Christmas Week' because for that week all clients meals are compliments of George.
- Rotary Club of Palgrave -
sponsors of our Emergency Frozen Meal Program, supplying frozen meals to our clients to ensure that they have food on days when the hot meals are cancelled due to inclement weather .
- Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill, Bolton - Our newest partnership is with Dan Eremita of Bolton Crabby Joe's. He generously donated the proceeds from his Annual Charity Golf Tournament to us. We used a portion of those proceeds to purchase hot meals for a day for all of our clients. Dan will also be making a trip out with a volunteer to meet some of these clients!
